I have to admit that I would not have taken a hair product line called Crack very seriously. If I didn’t see it at my favorite beauty supply store there’s a pretty good chance that I would breeze over this hair care line altogether. But then it got me thinking about how good it must be that the makers of the product decided to call it Crack.
Company Description for Shampoo- ‘A gentle, nourishing, detoxing hair cleanse. Helps reduce breakage and improves texture with de-aging nutrients to restore youthful shine’.
Company Description for Conditioner- ‘Life happens to your hair. Recondition it with enriched, moisturizing and protective wheat proteins blended in a hardworking formula gentle enough for daily therapy. Detangles, tames and improves resiliency.‘
Crack Hair Products Reviews
One of the first things that I look at in hair products is fragrance so you can imagine how surprised I was when I noticed that there really isn’t one in this case. Yes, they did add fragrance to the shampoo and conditioner but it’s so immensely soft that I have to mentally sniff it out and even then it’s barely there. It’s probably why my husband has decided to hog it and call it his own. Once I got used to the idea of the faint scent I realized that it doesn’t bother me as much as I thought it would. I’m just programmed to expect something and now that it’s not there it’s ok.
The shampoo lathers nicely and rinses easily. Since I have long hair that gets knotted easily I like to follow it up with the conditioner and find that it detangles my hair beautifully. The duo make my hair feel smooth and weightless. My locks also look shiny and healthy which is very important to me. They don’t help with my frizz issues but I have a ton of argan oil and other styling products to help me with that.
99% of me love these Crack hair products. My only issue with this brand is that the label doesn’t say anything about whether they’re cruelty free and sulfate free. I don’t see sulfate listed in the ingredients but still I want it in print because companies don’t have to write ingredients if they contain less than a certain percentage of the product makeup.
The Crack shampoo and conditioner retail for $12.49 each. If you can’t get to a beauty supply store then be sure to check them out on Amazon.
