Who is Doctor Babor?

Doctor Babor is a German doctor who sells his products to skin care specialists, missuses and spas all over the world.

His staff has about 225 employees including teams of dermatologists, geneticists, biochemists, molecular biologists, physicians and diabetologists whose goal is to create the best possible skin care products by using natural ingredients.

And if all of this doesn’t catch you interest the way it did mine, then maybe one of the sixteen awards his products have received since 2006 will do it for you.

1. Derma Cellular Collagen Booster

Company Description: ‘Facial cream for restructuring and plumping the skin from the inside out’.

I used the Doctor Babor Cellular Collagen Booster for eight weeks and found that by the fourth day my skin was visibly smoother and I had a healthy glow.

I don’t have any fine lines or wrinkles yet to be able to comment on whether or not in filled in the lines but I can tell you that my skin looked healthier in general.

The moisturizer doesn’t have a fragrance and it absorbs into the skin quickly enough so that by the time I get out my under eye concealer the moisturizer is completely dry.

The active ingredients used to make this moisturizer are:

  • Palmitoyl tripeptide-5: restructures the network of collagen and elastin fibers to form a dense, even structure and thus increases the density and firmness of the skin
  • Tripeptide-2: protects the collagen and elastin fibers against enzymatic degradation
  • Hyaluronic acid and marine collagen: supplies and binds moisture in the skin
  • Panthenol
  • Natural plant oils: squalane, sesame oil, avocado oil, macadamia nut oil

The Collagen Booster costs $154 for 50 ml.

2. Fluids FP Triple Booster Fluid

Company Description: This effective concentrate reorganizes the skins functions that are responsible appearance in three ways: promote cell renewal, lends skin a more even and more radiant appearance.

I applied the serums before I applied my moisturizer in the morning but you can use it at night too if you prefer.

I actually started using the booster a week and a half after I started using the moisturizer to see if it would make a difference and I found that it did.

My skin felt a but smoother but since the moisturizer works so nicely on me on its own I’ve decided to keep the booster fluids aside until the wintertime when my skin gets especially dry and I need all the help that I can get.

The Triple Booster Fluid costs $59

3. Derma Cellular Ultimate Perfecting Eye Cream

Company Description: ‘Intensive eye cream effectively reduces bags, puffiness, dark circles and wrinkles around the eyes’.

I have some major dark circles and lots of puff on my under eye area. I was excited to see that the Derma Cellular Ultimate Perfecting Eye Cream has a stainless steel rollerball because the stainless steel is really cold so it should work to reduce these issues.

Sort of like putting a spoon in the fridge and then putting the spoon on your eyes.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get the results that I want with this eye cream. It did reduce the circles and puffiness but only by half so I still had to use concealer.

On the days where I slept late it didn’t do much at all. It did moisturize nicely though so it may be better for someone who doesn’t look like they have a miniature tires around their eyes.

The active ingredients used to make this moisturizer are:

  • Actiflow®: High-grade Vitamin PP oat extract prevents puffiness and dark circles under the eyes by stimulating the microcirculation and increasing the flexibility of the capillaries.

The eye cream retails for $124 for 15 ml.

4. Cleansing Enzyme Cleanser

I used this cleanser only once a week because anything more than that is too much for me. In order to turn it into something that I can work with I had to mix it up with a little bit of water.

It worked beautifully to exfoliate and clean my skin. I could clearly see that my skin looked better whenever I used it. The only reason that I kept it at once a week is because I have sensitive skin and too much exfoliating- no matter how gentle tends to irritate my skin.

The Cleansing Enzyme Cleanser sells for $34 for 75 grams.

5. Cleansing Thermal Spray

Company Description: ‘A hydrating spray for the face and body. Pure thermal spring water from Aachen, which is rich in minerals and trace elements. Supplies 100% moisture’.

I like to use the spray whenever I’m feeling tired and need a quick pick me up. It helps to refresh me and because it’s packed with tons of minerals it helps to soften my skin even more.

The Cleansing Thermal Spray costs $25 for 200 ml.

With the exception of the eye cream, I really enjoyed using the Doctor Babor skin care line. I would use Doctor Babor skin care again in the future and would recommend it to others. You can out their products on

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I’ve never heard of this brand. I like the idea of the metal ball applicator for the eye cream, but it’s too bad it didn’t really work for you. The rest of the line sounds great!
