Tru AGE Therapy Gel Review

2 Sep

I first learned about the Tru AGE Therapy Gel at a luncheon this past summer where they gave me some serious education about how damaging sugar is for your skin and body. According to studies, in addition to stress, free radicals, pollution and genes, sugar is a source that causes your body to age faster.  After that talk I can tell you that I stopped taking sugar in my coffee and I started using the therapy gel every morning to see if my skin improves.

Company Description- ‘AGE management needs to happen every day, inside and out. And because the most visible effects of glycation takes place in the skin, Morinda created AGE Therapy Gel. As the first TruAge product to be applied topically, it reduces and reverses AGE damage in the skin. That means fewer wrinkles, age spots, fine lines and more. And with its blend of natural ingredients, AGE Therapy Gel also soothes, repairs and moisturizes stressed or damaged skin, giving you a more youthful and vibrant appearance’.

Tru AGE Therapy Gel Review

I found the Tru AGE Therapy Gel to have a very light and soothing fragrance that disappears almost instantly. Since I use it under my moisturizer a lack of fragrance is a huge plus for me because I don’t want to walk around smelling like a fruit salad or whatever mixture there will be based on the moisturizer I’m using at the time.

One drop of gel is all I need to cover my entire face. It’s really smooth and simply glides all over the skin with almost zero effort. It also takes just a few seconds to absorb into the skin so I didn’t have to wait too long before applying moisturizer and makeup.

I used the gel for a total of eight weeks and it has made a huge difference in my skin. I always had pretty good skin to begin with but now it ha a beautiful natural glow at all times. It looks hydrated, healthy and refreshed- as if I took a long and much needed vacation.

Since I started the Tru AGE Therapy Gel at the same time as a new moisturizer I wasn’t sure if it was really working so I stopped using it for a week and noticed that while my skin still looked good it didn’t look as vibrant. One use later and I was back on track. By three uses my skin looked amazing again.

The ingredients used to make the Tru AGE Therapy Gel are:

  • Noni fruit juice, Comelian cherry fruit extract, Olive leaf extract, Blueberry fruit extract and Cranberry fruit extract- These ingredients protect against free radical damage and provides iridoids.
  • Oat kernal extract and Beta-glucan- Soohes, calms and softens the skin, reduces redness and irritation and helps strengthen the skin’s barrier function.
  • Carnosine- Protects against AGE damage, prevents age formation, reduces the signs of aging skin, promotes healthy collagen production to improve the appearance of firm skin, strengthens the skin’s antioxidant defenses and helps skin recover after a sunburn.

I love my Tru AGE Therapy Gel and would recommend it to others. A 5 fl oz bottle of the Tru AGE Therapy Gel costs $42 which is a steal considering how little product you have to use to get results. You can learn more on

All those fruits have sugar in them – do they just mean giving up refined sugar? Sounds like the gel is really improving the look of your skin!
