I love supporting companies that are run by genuinely nice people. Tat2u happens to be one of these companies and I had the pleasure of meeting the owner at a Beauty Press event a short while ago. The great thing about meeting the people behind the brand is that you get to learn about why the brand was created and to see firsthand the love for the product. In this case the Tat2u came to life because the owner wanted to create quality makeup that are highly pigmented and edgy.

Tat2u Matte Lipstick Review
Company Description- ‘Formulated with Shea Butter to give you that matte look while still keeping your lips soft and smooth’!
I got to try a color called Rock Candy which is a hot pink color. As promised the lipstick delivers a wallop of pigment so that one application is all you need to get a bold beautiful color. The color also has lasting power. It does come off a bit when you drink something but it doesn’t wipe off completely. The lipstick lased for a better part of the day and looked great the entire time.
While I love matte lipsticks, I have found that some of them are dull and feather a bit. The Tat2U lipstick doesn’t do either of those things. In fact it’s bright and so smooth that you don’t even feel it. Something else that I love about the Ta2u matte lipstick is that thank to the oils used to make it, it’s highly moisturizing and feels great on.
The ingredients that they used to make the matte lipstick are:
Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax. Cera Alba (Bees) Wax, Olea Europa (Olive) Oil, Citrus Aurantium (Orange) Oil, Cymbopogom Citratus (Lemon Grass) Oil, Sesamun Indicum (Sesame) Oil. May Contain: Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Manganese Violet (CI 77742), Red 6 (CI 15850), Red 7 Lake (CI 15850), Red 30 Lake (CI 73360), Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090), Yellow 5 (CI 19140), Mica (CI 77019), Iron Oxide (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499).
The matte lipstick is available in 12 colors and is sold for
Tat2u Lip Crème Extreme Review
Company Description- ‘Intensify your lip color with a bright and bold look’!
The color of the gloss is called Mucho Caliente and I have to tell you that it doesn’t even begin to describe how brilliant, vivacious and bold the color really looks. It’s a perfect color for those times when I get depressed because summer is coming to an end.
The ingredients used to make the Tat2u Lip Crème Extreme are:
Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Olive (Oleo Europea) Oil, Isostearyl Palmitate, Cera Alba (Bees) Wax, Stearalkonium Hectorite, Silica Silylate, Theobroma Grandiflorum (Cupuacu) Seed Butter, Hydrogenated Polycyclopentadiene, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride. May Contain: Red #7 Lake (CI 15850), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77091), Mica (CI 77019), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, 77492, 77499), Red #28 (CI 45410), Yellow 6 Lake (CI 15985), Silica, Manganese Violet (CI 77742)
Tat2u Mascara Review
Company Description- ‘Instantly increase lash length and volume’.
The mascara is the only Tat2u product that I’m not a fan of because while it does what they say it will, it’s not the best that I’ve used. The mascara does in fact make my lashes blacker and a lot longer. However, the formula is a little sticky so there’s some clumping. The stickiness also makes it a lot harder to curl my lashes and since my lashes are so ridiculously straight curling is a big deal for me.
The ingredients that they use to make the mascara are:
Aqua (Water), Iron Oxide (CI 77499), Cera Alba (Bees Wax), Sucrose Stearate, Copernicia Cerifera Cera (Carnauba Wax), Cichorium Intybus Root Extract (Chicory Root), Propanediol, Helianthus Annuus Seed
The mascara is only sold in black for $16.0
Tat2u Blush Review
Company Description- ‘Matte, shimmery & glittery blushes’
I have naturally pink cheeks and skip the foundation so I don’t use blush on my cheekbones. I do however love using it as a shadow which works out nicely because blushes tend to be such soft colors and I like that. When I applied the blush over primer it did last for a long time so I didn’t have to worry about touching it up. I’ve actually added this product to my often used beauty product drawer because it looks so natural and works so well.
The ingredients used to make the blushes are:
Talc, Octyl Palmitate, Cyclomethicone, Zinc Stearate, Phenoxyethanol. Sodium Benzoate. May Contain: Mica (CI 77019), Iron Oxide (CI 77490) (CI 77491) (CI 77492), Manganese Violet (CI 77742), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Yellow 5 (CI 77891), Red 30 (CI 73360), Red 6 (CI 15850), Red 7 (CI 15850), Blue 1 (CI 42090:2), Ultramarines (CI 77007), Chromium Green (CI 77288).
The blush is available in 12 colors and is sold for $18.00.
With the exception of the mascara, the Tat2u cosmetics that I got to try are highly pigmented and long lasing. I would recommend them to others who like bold colors.
Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
