Dermesse is a company that offers prescription and non-prescription strength skin care products online that could previously only be purchased at plastic surgeon or dermatologist offices. They sell full skin care systems, acne treatments, anti-aging formulas, eye care, sun protection, moisturizers and cleansers. It definitely makes it easier to order from them than go to a dermatologist, pay an arm and a leg and then get the product at an additional cost. If you’re wondering, they do have a doctor on staff.
Dermesse Skin Care Reviews
I requested three products from Dermesse: Sunblock SPF 30, Optomize Eye Cream and the Sugar Scrub.
Dermesse Sugar Scrub Review
The sugar scrub is one of my absolute favorite scrubs of all time and considering how many I’ve used over the years that says a lot. It’s very thick so I had to add a few drops of water before applying it to my skin in order make it soft enough to use. I able to rub it over my skin easily without feeling a scratching sensation which is always a plus. It worked wonders at removing the dead skin cells and after I washed it off my skin felt smooth and hydrated. I used the scrub on mu face and neck, my elbows and knees and the soles of my feet and got great results each and every time. Something else that I love about the scrub is that it has a light honeysuckle fragrance which is very relaxing.
I’m loving how few ingredients there are in the Dermese Sugar Scrub and it just so happens that they are all natural. Check them out: Sucrose, Chamomile (Anhemis Nobilis) Extract, Cucumber (Cucumis Sativus) Extract, Allentoin, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E,), Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A).
The scrub costs $38 for 8oz and $12 for 2oz. Worth every penny.
Dermesse Sunblock SPF 30 Review
The sunscreen comes in a squeezy bottle that has a hole at the top that you can squeeze the sunscreen out of one drop at a time or more if you prefer. What I like about this is that you get less bacteria in the bottle so it’s safer to use. The sunscreen is in a cream form which is very easy to rub into the skin and it absorbs into the skin quickly leaving behind a light citrus fragrance. It actually feels very light and moisturizing on the skin and I wear it daily because I like it so much. Even though my skin feels soft after using the sunscreen, I still use my moisturizer because the main job of this product is sun protection, not moisturizing.
The ingredients that they use to make this sunscreen are: Octinoxate 7%, Titanium Dioxide 2%, Green Tea (Camillia Sinensis) Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Extract, Emulsifying Wax NF, Sorbitol, Isocetyl Stearate, Deionized Water, DMDM Hydantoin, Lechitin, Rice Peptides, SD Alcohol 40, Iodopropynl Butylcarbanate, Sodium Styryl Phthalate, Octyl Salicylate, Acetyl Hexapeptied-3, Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Silica, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Triethanolamine, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), alpha-Lipoic Acid.
Dermesse Sunblock SPF 30 sells for $40 for 2oz.
Dermesse Optimize Eye Cream Review
Yup dark circles and puffy bags are a day to day battle in my life. With daily use I found that the Dermesse eye cream kept my under eye looking the way that I wish I looked without using anything. The circles were no longer there and the puff had completely disappeared. I did stop using it for two weeks to review another product and some of the color seeped back in but once I went back to this one my eyes looked vibrant, healthy and moisturized again.
Now for the ingredients: orgonian Extract (Sea Whip), Yeast Extract, Squalane, Acetyl Tetrapeptide-5, Placental Enzymes, Bisabolol, Vitamin E, Deionized Water, Mineral Oil (Pharmaceutical grade), Decyl Oleate, Cetyl Alcohol, Glycerine, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-40 Stearate, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, PEG-100 Stearate, Dimethicone, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, PEG 75M, Disodium EDTA.
The eye cream retails for $80 for 0.5oz which sounds like a lot but you have to use so little product that it’s worth it because the bottle will last.
I had a great experience with the Dermesse products and would recommend them to others. You can learn more about these and other Dermese products on http://dermesse.com/
