Lip Monthly is a beauty sampling service the delivers mainly lip products such as lipsticks, glosses and liners along with one bonus beauty product that is not a lip product to your door every month. They’ve been sending me their boxes to review lately and are quickly turning into a brand that I look forward to seeing because I can’t wait to see what they have in store for me next. Check out what was in this month’s sample box.
June Lip Monthly Review
I definitely needed one of these to help out with the feathering issue I have with red lipsticks. It goes on clear so that it doesn’t change the true color of your lippie and it does help with the feathering issue. Since it helps me look sophisticated instead of messy I make sure to carry it in my purse at all times.
Mary Kate And Ashley- Lip Foils
There are two colors in this duo and I would tell you what they are except there’s nothing on the label. However, one is a beautiful shimmery pink and the other is a sparkly copper. Both colors are on the neutral side and I think that they will look good on most skin tones.
LOL- Lots Of Love- Lipstick
This is my very first time hearing about or trying a beauty product by LOL. The shade that they sent me is called Dance With The Devil which is a beautifully bold red. It feels moisturizing on which I love but needs to be reapplied after one cup of coffee. The good news is that it’s very inexpensive (about $3.99) so you don’t feel bad about how much you use.
Essie Purifying Hand Treatment (This month’s Lip Monthly mix Up)
While the Essie treatment sounds like it’s a sanitizer, it’s actually a moisturizer. It has a light consistency and absorbs into the skin fairly quickly leaving behind a very soft fragrance. It worked to keep my hands soft but wore off the second I washed my hands which is often because I wear powdered gloves at work. To be fair, I used it on my day off and it lasted a lot longer.
I love this month’s Lip Monthly box. If you would like to learn more about this service just head to https://lipmonthly.com/
