Adovia Moisturizing Mineral Soap Review

I generally prefer natural body washes that moisturize my skin because soaps dry me out big time. I have to admit that the only reason that I put my skin in harms way is because I have a history with the brand (check out my post  Adovia Purifying Mud Mask Review ) and so I have high hopes that I won’t react in my usual drying way.  I have to admit that I am now definitely an Adovia addict.

Company Description- ‘Adovia’s all natural mineral soap contains a unique combination of Dead Sea minerals and trace elements derived from Dead Sea Salt. This soap cleanses thoroughly, removing dirt and sebum, while infusing your skin with minerals essential to keeping your skin hydrated and moisturized.’

Adovia Soap Review

The soap has a clean, fresh scent which reminds me of the Irish Spring soap that the hubby uses. Although I generally prefer lemon or coffee scented bath products, I found that I like the fresh fragrance of the Adovia soap. It’s actually very outdoorsy and soothing.

The soap itself doesn’t take up a lot of room lengthwise which makes it a space saver in small baths. It is thick enough widthwise however that it’s really easy to hold and doesn’t slip out of my hand continuously.

The Adovia soap doesn’t lather much but it is very gentle and doesn’t leave behind any residue after the suds have been rinsed. Best of all, it really does moisturize the skin which is my favorite part. In fact, I went without using moisturizer on my skin for four days and my skin still felt smooth.

Now let’s check out the ingredients:

80% palm/ 20% palm kernal oil, dead sea salts, magnesium, sodium, potassium, demineralized water, natural extract (fragrance). That’s all.

I love that the soap is made with dead sea salts and minerals because it’s what makes this soap work its magic.

I enjoyed using the Adovia Mineral Soap and would recommend it to others. You can purchase it on

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Looks like a good soap, not sure I would personally use it because palm oil is the biggest ingredient and I avoid using it.

I have always thought that Irish Spring smells so nice, so if this is similar, I am sure I will like it as well.

I really like dead sea minerals. They really work great! The only thing is that I prefer liquid soap – do you know if they have a non-bar soap version?
