Armour Brigitte Lip Gloss Review
The Amour Brigitte lip gloss is the ideal summer color. It’s a cross between nude and pink color that captures so much light that it has streaks of shimmery silver running through it. It’s really very striking and I love it.
One of my favorite things about Armour lip glosses is that they’re incredibly moisturizing but not sticky at all. Really, is there a beauty product that’s more annoying than a sticky gloss? It gets in the way of eating, drinking and talking and I don’t have the patience for that- no matter how pretty the color looks.
Normally when discussing lip gloss I don’t bother going into detail about lasting power because they don’t last too long. In this case, I noticed that the gloss lasted through an appetizer and a pasta dinner. The color was still there but it lost that dazzling shimmer that I fell in love with initially. Still this is pretty good for a gloss. It all finally wiped off when I finished my tea – very impressive.
I can’t smell the grapefruit scent at all but as far as the vanilla goes I do notice a very slight fragrance. The vanilla is not strong at all which is good because I would probably wipe it off if it was. I’m not one for scented lip products and haven’t purchased any scented glosses since junior high.
Something that I love about Armour lip glosses is the ingredients that they use. Check them out:
I love that they use ingredients such as mango seed butter, avocado oil, grapes seed oil and shea butter because they make your lips softer and softer with wear.
As of now Armour’s only vegan gloss is Brigitte and it sells for $21 for a .21oz tube. I can’t wait to see what else they come out with and I hope that they launch more colors soon.
