Trind Nail Polish Review

21 May

In my profession and everyday life I use my nails for a lot of random things. Opening packages, dialing numbers, deleting images from my camera… I know that I shouldn’t do any of it but it really can’t be helped. Finding nail strengtheners are one of the best ways that I can fight the frail, broken nails that I’ve given myself. Trind is a line of nail products that not only makes beautiful polishes but strengthens nails as well.

Trind Nail Polish Review

Company Description- ’The Trind Caring Color Line offers a fascinating palette of fashionable shades for fabulous nails. Nail colour that specially has been developed to maintain the health and vitality of your nails after getting them in top shape from using our nail care products’.

It took me a while to write this review because I first wanted to see how the polishes work vs the kit. The reason for this besides the obvious is something that I read on the site- ”The Caring Colors line contains active ingredients that strengthen and improve the overall condition of the nail, optimize adhesion of polish to prolong the life of your manicure, and creates a beautiful sheen’.

I used the polish along with a basic top coat for a week and a half before I started using the kit. I did notice that my nails were not as fragile and I had fewer chips which means less time filing. I think that one of the reasons that the polish works so well (besides the active ingredients) is that it’s so thick. However, if you think that the density of this polish is going to mean that you’re going to spend over ten minutes drying your nails this is not the case. The Trind polish takes about 5 to 7 minutes to completely dry.

The polish last for about five days before they start to crack but the cracks are tiny. It really took an entire week before I saw my first chip and that’s saying a lot because I use my hands a lot. They’re constantly in powdered gloves, in water and doing all of those bad things that I mentioned earlier. Unless it’s a gel, I have never come across another brand that lasted this long on my nails.

The Trind nail polish colors themselves are beautiful. The three nail colors that I received are Burst My Bubble, Mellow Yellow and Surf’s Up. Burst My Bubble is a beautiful creme based pink that I would call a peony color. Mellow Yellow is a bright energetic yellow that is also a creme. Surf’s Up on the other hand is a metallic turquoise that really shines. I love them all because they all stand out and are like bold fashion statements that can be used as accessories.

Trind Moist And Shiny Kit Review

Company Description- ’Strong healthy nails in just two weeks! Guaranteed! Follow our directions, once a day for two weeks to rejuvenate nails, creating the ideal balance between strength and moisture. Your nails will become more flexible as they become stronger. The Moist & Shiny Kit is simple, economical, and effective.

Your Trind Moist & Shiny Kit contains 3 products:

  • Trind nail file.
  • Trind Moisturizing Nail Balsam contains natural moisturizers that hydrate dry, brittle nails.
  • Trind Nail Repair will strengthen your nails and prevent discoloration.

In order for the Trind Moist and Shiny Kit to be effective it’s imperative that you follow their instructions. The Nail Balsam should be used daily for two weeks. You can use it alone or with a regular polish. The Nail Repair should be applied daily directly on the nail which means that you have to remove any polish that you are wearing. After two weeks you will only have to do this once a week.

I have to admit that I wasn’t happy about having to recolor my nails daily, but my nails were in such horrid shape that I desperately wanted to see if the Trind Moist and Shiny kit would work. After the two weeks period, I definitely saw improvement. My nails were stronger and more flexible. Their color also went from a little white to a healthy natural color. Best of all, I didn’t see any cracks or chipping. All of this would get me to use this kit again.

Although it is not necessary to use the polishes from the Trind Caring Color Line with Trind’s treatment products, the combination has an incredible effect on the nails. The high-tech innovative formulation in Caring Colors contains active ingredients that strengthen and improve the overall condition of the nail, optimize adhesion of polish to prolong the life of your manicure, and creates a beautiful sheen. The line includes a base coat and top coat with the active ingredients to maintain and sustain the health and appearance of beautifully polished nails!

I’m very happy that the people over at Trind introduced me to their strengthening polishes and will definitely use them again in the future and recommend them to others. You can learn more about them on

I’m not sure I would have the patience to do the once a day for 2 weeks thing that the kit requires initially. However, for someone with problem nails, it sounds like it’s worth a try.
