Jane Iredale is by far one of my favorite beauty companies. I’ve reviewed many of their products but this is my first time reviewing one of their shadows even though I’ve been using it for some time now. Normally, I sneak into Martina’s office at work and use her palettes but Jane Iredale sent me my very own PurePressed Eye Shadow to try out. Maybe now I can leave Martina alone.
Company Description- ‘We’ve put together a trio of harmonious shades you can mix and blend for any mood or occasion!’.
Jane Iredale PurePressed Eye Shadow Review
The palette that I received is called Golden Girl which contains three colors: a rose gold, gold and bronze. The colors are highly pigmented and very easy to blend so that you can create a wide range of looks. They do have a lot of sparkle so I like to use them to create evening looks because I prefer matte for daytime but if you like shimmer then you can get a lot of use from them.
The shadows can be applied wet or dry. Either way, they create a soft, smooth look and last for hours. There’s no clumping and when used over primer there’s no creasing. If I feel like blending to create a smokey eye look I prefer applying it dry because it’s easier to control.
A few more reasons to love the Jane Iredale PurePressed Eye Shadow are:
- It’s cruelty free
- It’s vegan
- Safe for sensitive skin
- Formulated with ingredients that are good for the skin
- Crease resisitant
- There are 12 palettes that contain a trio of colors.
- There are 30 single color palettes to choose from
- The palette is small so it’s great for travel or to carry in a small purse
I like the Jane Iredale PurePressed Eye Shadow and would recommend it to others. You can learn more at https://janeiredale.com/us/en/mineral-makeup/eyeshadow/purepressed-eye-shadows.htm
