I love a company that cares every aspect of the environment as well as beauty. Sibu Beauty happens to be one of these companies. Their products embrace two main components: the buckthorn berry and omega 7 fatty acids. The Sea buckthorn berry is known to withstand severe cold by producing an array of powerful nutrients. With over 190 bioactive compounds, sea buckthorn is an unsurpassed source of Omegas 3, 6, and 9. Omega-7 has an essential fatty acid vital to collagen production and healthy skin, hair and nails. They sent me their exfoliating scrub to review.
Company Description- ‘Our sea buckthorn exfoliating scrub, with omega 7 fatty acids, deep cleans pores to reveal fresh and radiant skin. With apricot, sea buckthorn and aloe, this emollient scrub is ideal for twice a week exfoliation.’
Sibu Beauty Exfoliating Scrub Review
First of all, I love the scent of the scrub. It smells like warm apricots and the fragrance reminds me of the fruit that we pick up at the farms in the Hamptons every summer. It’s soft, inviting and wonderfully soothing. If you’re into aromatherapy the scent is sure to win you over.
The exfoliating scrub is on the thicker side and contains lots and lots of chunky seeds to help get rid of of the dead skin cells. Although the directions say that you get best results when you use it two times per week, I prefer to exfoliate only once a week so I stayed with my usual routine. While the seeds are larger than the ones in many of the other scrubs that I’ve used I found that the Sibu Beauty exfoliating scrub worked gently to remove the dead skin cells. It didn’t scratch my skin or leave it feeling irritated at all.
Once I washed all traces of the scrub off of my skin, I immediately noticed that my cheeks had a beautiful healthy pink glow. My skin as a whole felt completely smooth and hydrated.
Now check out the ingredients used to make the Sibu exfoliating scrub:
