Normally Glossyox sends me a sample box to review in the earlier part of the month. However, during this holiday season I got it so late in the month that it was almost New Years and I didn’t get a chance to open because I went out of town. Now that I’m back I finally had some time to look over the products that they sent over. Here’s what I found.
Anatomicals: You Need A Blooming Shower
Company Description: Featuring a soothing mix of aloe and witch hazel and rose and jasmine scents, this relaxing shower gel leaves the skin feeling cleansed and refreshed.
Review: I love the name of the fragrance of this body cleanser. It’s called Your ‘Nose Smells Rose.’ In fact I love everything about the packaging because it’s pretty funny. As for the body wash it has a nice lather and leaves the skin feeling smooth. All in all a great buy at $5.50.
Caswell-Massey: Dr Hunter’s Hand Cream
Company Description: An original formula of natural rosewater, glycerin, sweet almond oil, and shea butter that is easily absorbed to soften and condition hands.
Review: I’ve been carrying this hand cream in my purse lately. You can actually smell a hint of rosewater in it and even though it’s not very thick its so moisturizing! Since I’m always wearing gloves at work this cream is an essential for me.
Michael Todd True Organics: Pumpkin Mask
Company Description: This mask contains pumpkin enzymes and gycolic acid that dissolves impurities like dead skin and clogged pores, which significantly improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, even after a single use! Not suitable for sensitive skin types.
Review: I have pretty sensitive skin. Nothing medical but sensitive all the same so I’m skipping this one.
Nails Inc.: Victoria Polish
Company Description: Nails Inc. polishes are professionally formulated for a long lasting, super glossy, flawless finish. This deep cherry red shade is a great way to add a dash of chic to your holiday look.
Review: I don’t have enough good things to say about this polish. The color truly is a beautiful deep cherry that I love. I’ll be sure to post a review with swatches soon so that you can see how pretty it is for yourself.
Naobay: Oxygenating Cream Moisturizing
Company Description: This skin keeps the surface of your skin balanced, fresh and hydrated. With its special composition based on essential oils, such as rosehip oil and sweet almond oil, the surface of the skin is kept balanced and fresh.
Review: Unfortunately this review is on hold for now because I’m waaaaay behind on my skincare reviews. For now, I can tell you that it has a nice floral fragrance and is made with a lot of natural ingredients that are popular in skincare.
Now, I got my sample box for free to review, but for those of you who have never tried Glossybox I can say that it’s gotten better and better over the last few months. If you like trying sample sized beauty products (or even actual sized ones sometimes) then they’re worth a look. You can find them at http://www.glossybox.com/
Have you tried any of these products before? Thoughts?
Disclaimer- I got a sample of the product to review. However, my review is honest and portrays how I feel about the product.
