Derma E is another natural skincare line that I was introduced to at the Beauty Press event. While I found their line of moisturizers, exfoliates, cleansers and serums to be interesting, it was really their Hydrating Eye Cream that caught my attention because I’ve been having some major issues sleeping lately. And let me tell you that I’ve tried everything but hypnosis to get a good nights rest but all I get is a lot of tossing and turning and some major baggy under eye skin. Since eye creams that contain lots of moisture are very helpful to making look and feel better I was very excited when they gave me a tube of the cream to review.
Company Description- ‘This best-selling eye crème deeply hydrates, firms and tones the eye area to reduce the look of crow’s feet’.
Derma E Hydrating Eye Cream Review
The Derma E Hydrating Eye Cream has a very light fragrance which I didn’t even notice any more once I applied it onto my skin. The consistency was just a touch thick but it was still very easy to apply. More importantly, it soaked into the skin in seconds. As promised, after one week of use I did notice that my under eye area appeared to be hydrated and toned. The puffy circles were pretty much gone and I was able to put away my concealer. After two weeks, I got compliments and was told that my eyes appear to be brighter.
It seems that the secret to success for the Derma E eye cream is an ingredient called Hyaluronic Acid (HA) which is known to hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water. This means that it can soften, smooth, tone and rehydrate the skin. In addition to this, they added antioxidants a slew of ingredients known to be nourishing and moisturizing. These ingredients include:
- Organic Green Tea Leaf Extract
- Jojoba Oil
- Vitamins A, C and E
- Witch Hazel Extract
- Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract
The Derma E Hydrating Eye Cream is 100% vegan, cruelty-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, mineral oil-free, lanolin-free, gluten free and GMO-free.
I love this eye cream and love that it’s so affordable ($16.50 on http://dermae.com/). It will definitely be added to my beauty drawer for future use.
Disclaimer- I got a sample of the product to review. However, my review is honest and portrays how I feel about the product. I did not in any way write a good review because I was given the product for free.
