As a blogger I tend to read many other beauty blogs. One of these blogs is called Phyrra and is owned by a friend of mine. I initially started following her blog about four years ago and quickly learned that she’s an honest, creative and brilliant woman. In other words if she says buy it, I add it to my wish list and so do many of her other followers. It really was a matter of time before she developed her very own hair masque called Pretty Little Elixir.
Before we get into the masque I want to point out that Phyrra has changed her hair color at least four times since I’ve met her. I think that she initially started with hot pink hair and then moved on to ink black, cherry red and now cobalt blue. I’m sure that there were some other colors in there that I’m not remembering at the time but the point is that with so much coloring and heat styling she must have put a lot of thought and effort into keeping her hair shiny and soft.
Phyrra worked with Nicki at Future Derm to create Pretty Little Elixir. The masque is a cruelty free, paraben free, vegan and designed especially for chemically treated or heat damaged hair. Its main goal is to transform chemically-treated hair from dry and dull to smooth and sexy and if you’re an avid coloring fanatic you know how difficult this can be after years of treatments.
Phyrra’s Pretty Little Elixir contains ingredients known to reduce the signs of external damage and return hair to its lustrous, soft state.
- Quaternium-91- to add shine and smoothness to your hair, especially after repeated use.
- Behentrimonium Chloride- protects and restores hair after heat or dyeing damage.
- Myristyl Myristate (vegetable base)- adds in hydration to leave your hair silky smooth.
- Silanetriol Phenoxyethanol- a preservative
- Cetearyl Alcohol
- Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein PG-Propyl
- Fragrance derived from fruit extract.
You can use Pretty Little Elixir daily however it is recommend that you use it only once or twice a week.
Check out Phyrra’s video on the masque to get a better idea of what to expect.
As I mentioned before, the masque is cruelty free, vegan and paraben free. In addition to that it’s silicone, gluten and sulfate free. The price of the masque is $39.99 and includes free shipping to USA ($10 shipping international). You can purchase it at https://phyrrahair.myshopify.com/
Best of luck on your new masque Phyrra. I can’t wait for you to come out with your own mineral makeup line.
