If you read reviews about cruelty free products there’s a pretty good chance that you’ve visited a popular site called My Beauty Bunny. The owner, Jen Mathews is an avid animal lover who has turned the blog into THE place to go to learn everything you need to know about beauty products that favor saving the bunnies (and other animals for that matter). She’s reviewed everything from skincare to makeup and hair products and always says it like it is (that’s one of the reasons I’m a huge fan). Recently, she has launched her very own cruelty free facial moisturizer.
Company Description- The All-Original My Beauty Bunny Cruelty-Free All-Natural AHA Moisturizer is an energizing, oil-free AHA moisturizer for a healthy glow.
The moisturizer is all-natural, cruelty free, vegan, GMO-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, triclosan-free, artificial fragrance-free, gluten-free, and petrochemical-free. What this means is that your skin will get the nourishment that it needs to look soft and healthy without the use of unnecessary chemicals. If you think about everything that you use on a daily basis (shampoo, conditioner, makeup, deodorant, etc) then you’ll know that the less junk you put into your body the healthier you are and the better your body will treat you.
So what makes the moisturizer work its magic? Check out this amazing list of ingredients:
- Aloe Vera Leaf Juice
- Bilberry Fruit Leaf Extract
- Sugar Cane Extract
- Orange Fruit Extract
- Lemon Fruit Extract
- Sugar Maple Extract
- Cranberry Essential Oil
- Grapefruit Essential Oil (for fragrance)
- Witch Hazel
- White Tea
- Green Tea
- Red Tea
Now for those nasty ingredients that it doe not contain:
- Synthetic Fragrances
- Synthetic Dyes
Although I haven’t tried it yet, the My Beauty Bunny moisturizer is said to be lightweight, hydrating and revitalizing. It’s an oil-free formula that absorbs quickly, and works to reduce hyperpigmentation (sun spots and age spots), fine lines and evens out skin tone and texture. Based on the ingredients list I’m a firm believer that it can do what it says it will. Come to think of it, based on the honesty and integrity of the blog, I know that it will deliver results.
The My Beauty Bunny moisturizer sells for $39 at http://mybeautybunny.myshopify.com.
