New Year Wish List

9 Dec

new_year_wish_listI’m not much of a holiday person but that doesn’t stop me from making lists and list of products that I can’t wait to try. From little known brands to mainstream household names there are too many to count so I’ve listed just a few products that I’ve been hearing about that you may like to try as well.

Apotherm Skincare Deluxe Skin Care Set- This limited-edition gift set is the perfect way to try Apothederm products and see what you like best! These sample sizes are perfect for traveling, and all sizes are TSA compliant. The set includes a firming serum, a moisturizing cream, a hydrating eye cream, a moisturizing cleanser, a bright skin serum, a brightening cleanser and a cute gift box.

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Cosmetic Glitters- One of the biggest winter beauty trends this year is to make your eyes stand out. One of the ways that this was done on the runways was with glitter. I’m already a fan of OCC lip tars but I’m ready to try out their glittery shadows. They’re all very pretty so I’m not sure which one I want yet but I’m thinking a white or a pink.

Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow- I’ve heard that this cream shadow delivers a lot of sparkle, is easy to use and has lasting power. The color that I want the most is called Kitten which is an almost natural looking gold.

Jane Iredale Glamour Eye And Lip Palette- This is the ultimate beauty set from one of my favorite brands. It features fifteen PurePressed Eye Shadows, ten PureMoist Lipsticks and five PureGloss Lip Glosses, with a rose gold Lip Brush for precise application.

Manna Kadar Transfix- This product transforms any of your eye shadows into a smudge proof liquid liner. Simply dip Transfix into any eye shadow and rim your eyes for the perfect eyeliner. This product won Best Beauty Bella NYC 2013 so I can’t wait to see that it can do.

Inglot Nightlife Collection of Nail Enamel 235- I’m heading to a beauty show in a few weeks and one of the things that I’m planning on picking up is a sparkly Inglot polish. It’s very close to a color that I wanted to use at the nail salon and the nail lady made fun of me because she said I was too old for sparkly polishes. I no longer go to that salon.

Ellis Fraas Milky Lips- I saw a picture of the most beautiful red lips somewhere and found out that Ellis Fraas makes it. Here’s to hoping that it looks as good on me.

Decleor 2 in 1 Purfying & Oxygenating Mask- This mask has been on my wish list for much too long. This Purifying and Oxygenating Mask combines both an exfoliant and mask in one for a simple, gentle approach to pureness. Bamboo Tears cleanse and deeply mattify without dehydrating the skin whilst Egyptian Loofah Fibres gently eliminate dead skin cells. Spheres of White Jojoba restore hydration and leave your skin feeling soft. I’m hoping it can give my skin a medical pick me up this winter.

Mini Pro Travel Straightening Iron by Mia- As much as I love my regular hair iron it’s a hassle to travel with because it takes up a lot of space. The Mia mini pro is the most compact and lightweight tourmaline nano ceramic flat iron on the market. It heats up to 400°F in seconds so that you can get on with your vacation.

A.S.A.P. Mineral Lipcolour- I’ve recently found myself not only looking at mineral shadows but at mineral lipsticks as well. While the natural colors appear to be very pretty, it’s the red ones (named mineral lipcolour 5 and 6) that are the ones that I’m really interested in.

Carita Gant De Velours Velvet Glove Hand Cream- As soon as October hits my hands turn into sandpaper and my nails dry out. I’ve heard great things about this cream and should get it before my hands and nails lose all moisture altogether. Nothing makes you appear older faster than dry hands.

Authentic Skin Remedies QUENCH Nourishing Face and Body Balm- I love skincare products that contain natural ingredients. This one is a luxurious botanical balm that will nourish the most parched skin without leaving a sticky film. It leaves your skin smooth, supple and delicately fragranced with a coconut essence. The natural, plant-based ingredients such as Sunflower Seed oil and Shea Butter soften and enrich dry, dehydrated skin, while the essence appeals to your other senses.

Smashbox Photo Finish Lid Primer- A saleswoman once told me that Smashbox was known for their lid primer and this bit of information always stayed in my mind. The primer that I’m using now is almost finished so I’ll be able to pick this one up soon.

Rowena Inspiration Pro Auto Sensor Hair Dryer- My keratin treatment is fading fast and I’m not going to get it redone until the summer humidity hits again. Until then the Rowena dryer sounds great to me. Apparently it turns on when it’s in your hand and shuts off when you put it down so that it saves energy. It has two speeds, three heat setting and a built-in ionic generator for 35% more airflow, 20% faster drying and frizz free results.

Collin Lipo-Fitness Serum- I’ve started working out and eating better, however I can use all of the help that I can get.  This serum is said to minimize the appearance of cellulite and help elasticity and toning.

BioELIXIA Stretch Mark Diminishing Cream- After having my gorgeous daughter my skin was never really the same again. I would love to try out this diminishing cream to see if the stretch marks get lighter.

Merle Norman Wicked Lash Mascara- When it comes to lashes I love fat ones that accentuate my eyes. The Wicked mascara includes an oversized brush which helps increase volume, length and curl.

OroGold 24K Eye Care- Gold has been known to provide some incredible beauty results. While the entire Orogold line is screaming my name I would love to try out the eye care. It sounds so luxurious!

Vine Vera Shiraz Instalift- Every line created by Vine Vera is made with Resveratrol which is an antioxidant found in red wine and grapes. After pouring over the different lines that they offer, including Merlot and Pinot Noir, I’ve decided to go after some of the products in the Shiraz Instalift line.

Kanshi Salted Coconut Body Scrub- I love a good body scrub and the Kanshi scrub sounds amazing! It’s made with sea salts, natural coconut and coconut shell. Yummy!

Beauty Addicts Lipstick- I was impressed with the other Beauty Addicts products that I tried in the past and want to pick up a lipstick at the beauty show next week. I’m thinking of a coral color called Affair which is a pretty coral.

emerginC Vitamin C, Hemp, Avocado and Argan Body Lotion- After falling in love with the emerginC aromatic cream tea cleanser I continued to keep an eye on the brand. Hemp is an ingredient that I’m starting to get into and I already love avocado and argan oil so this is a definite must for me.

You don’t really think that that’s all there is, do you? There really is so much more but they’re for another time.

What’s on your wish list?

It’s fun to learn what looks good on you. I’m still learning something new all the time.

Love your list! Hope you get everything on it :) I adore Authentic Skin Remedies Quench, too. Everytime I open the little sample size jar and smell that fragrance I go wild, and it is so soothing. Gotta put that on my list. Glad to hear that Merle Norman is still around. Used to love their lippies, but haven’t seen the brand in quite a while. Just curious, have you tried Orogold products?

I actually got one of the the Authentic skincare products that I wanted already and love it. I never tried Orogold but read so many great things about it that I have to try it out. Hopefully for my birthday.
