Ashieda Reviews

ashieda_reviewsOne of my favorite Sunday morning rituals is giving myself a facial because it helps me look refreshed and revitalized after a long week of the basics. One of the beauty products that is essential to my technique is using a face mask. Ashieda is a skincare company that doesn’t use synthetic ingredients and this means a lot to me because I apply enough stuff to my skin on a regular basis without wanting to add more. They sent me their mask to incorporate into my routine a couple of times so that I can see the results that they say they can deliver.

Company Descriptions- ‘We pride ourselves on our all natural, world-class ingredients, ones proven to work. Our team travels the world to investigate ingredients that for centuries have provided indigenous peoples with effective beauty aids and health remedies. We provide these natural, safe and effective solutions for today’s women’.

Ashieda Skin Renewal Mask Review

Company Description- ‘Our Natural Facial Mask rounds out our skin renewal products with an at-home facial that is better than a facial at any high end salon because it addresses all the aspects of anti-aging in one mask. Stimulating the production of collagen, pre-hyaluronan and elastin for skin flexibility and firmness, this mask helps your skin to retain moisture resulting in increased hydration, improved skin tone and reduction of fine lines and wrinkles’.

Review- Normally when I apply a facial mask I just wash my face with a cleanser and then I apply the mask for ten to fifteen minutes and call it a day. Upon reading the instructions on how to use the Ashieda mask it say that for best results it should be left on for about an hour. Between work, family and my other activities an hour is an awful long time for me to sit around with a mask on my skin. I simply don’t have the time or the patience to do this but just to see what happens I woke up early one morning and applied it for forty five minutes.  Perhaps because the mask contains so many natural ingredients, it didn’t feel as sticky as many other collagen masks that I’ve used in the past. There was no trace of gunky gooey slimy stuff. Instead there was a thick liquid that was easy to rub into the skin once the treatment was over. At the end, I found that my skin had a beautiful glow and felt velvety soft.

100% Natural Sponge Review

Company Description- ‘Made from natural Konjac vegetable fiber with collagen, this sponge has an extra fine texture and is the ideal cleanser for every type of skin, even the most sensitive’.

Before you use the sponge to exfoliate your skin you have to rinse it with warm water for a little while to soften it. Although you can use the sponge as it is I decided to use my favorite Suki cleanser with it. Keep in mind that you don’t have to use a cleanser because it cleanses naturally. I just like the lemony scent of my cleanser. The sponge was very gentle and didn’t irritate my skin at all as I swirled it around my face. It was so soft that I was able to easily get it to mold around the curves of my nose. However it was firm enough that it was easy to hold. It did a great job and getting rid of the dead, dry skin cells and leaving me with a clean, shiny, healthy looking skin.

I’m only going to leave you with one warning about the sponge and it’s not so much a warning about the product but about how you present it. After I used the sponge, I drained the water out of it and put in in a bowl on the side of the bathroom vanity to dry. My hubby thought that it was a macaroon (he wasn’t wearing glasses at the time) and asked me if I was going to eat it and why it was in the bathroom. I had a good laugh over that.

Although the mask takes some time to work, the use of both the exfoliator and the mask kept my skin feeling smooth and moisturized for a solid three days after the initial use. I love that the Ashieda products contain natural ingredients therefore making them worth the time and effort to use. Chances are that I’ll use the sponge more often than the mask only because there is a time issue but if you’re up to it the mask is well worth the effort as well. You can learn more about Ashieda at https://www.ashieda.com/

I try to do them in the morning but you will need the extra time for this one so after the kids go to sleep is a good time.
