Influenster Mama VoxBox

I got my Mama VoxBox courtesy of Influenster this weekend and it’s filled with five great products that any mom would like to try out.

Dr. Scholl’s For Her Comfort Soles $12.49

Company Description- ‘Dr. Scholl’s For Her Comfort Insoles are uniquely designed to provide all-day comfort. They absorb shock and impact on the heel and help protect the sensitive ball of foot area. Best of all, they work great in a variety of shoes including flats and boots’.

Review- I’ve been a huge fan of the Dr. Scholl’s For Her Comfort Soles ever since I sprained my ankle about three years ago. What does a sprained ankle have to do with insoles you ask. It’s all about the pressure on the feet. Ever since I injured myself it’s excruciating to wear high heels because between my left ankle, my right knee and the balls of both of my feet I feel like there are knives going into my soles. The Dr. Scholl’s help to ease the pain so that I can wear a shirt heel at least without feeling like I’m going to cry. These insoles are a definite must have for anyone who has feet issues or spends a lot of time standing.

POND’S Luminous Finish BB+ Cream $9.99

Company Description- ‘It’s not your ordinary BB! With tone perfecting complex, POND’S Luminous Finish BB+ delivers the instant results you have come to expect from BB creams, PLUS the long term benefit of more even toned skin. How? First, it delivers a special pigment system designed to blend flawlessly into skin to immediately conceal imperfections. Then, it keeps working to target the source of dark spots on skin’s surface, visibly fading them over time’.

Review- One of my very first memories of a beauty product is seeing a jar of POND’S in my mom’s makeup drawer so I’m only too happy to try a new twist on a classic moisturizer. I found that it’s a lightweight moisturizer that is absorbed by the skin very quickly so that your skin can breathe without feeling weighed down. Although I have no dark spots to speak of, I do find that it gives great coverage and leaves the skin looking smooth and healthy. I should mention that the Mama VoxBox contained two different POND’s BB creams- one for a light finish and one for a medium finish. oth contain SPF 15 which is always a major plus in my book. A great skincare product for the price.

belVita Soft Baked Breakfast Biscuits $3.69

Company Description- ‘Baked with hearty whole grains belVita Soft Baked Breakfast Biscuits are delicious, nutritious and give you satisfying morning energy to start your day off right’.

Review- The mornings are chaotic on my home. Between fighting over who gets to shower first, packing my daughter’s snack and workbooks and getting both of us ready to get out of the house my breakfast is pretty much an afterthought on the best of days. The belVita biscuit is 190 calories and contain 20% of the daily value of fiber. I found it to be very soft and although it’s a tad dry it has some nice bits of berry to perk it up with flavor. It’s quick, it’s easy and it’s a good way to eat something on the run.

Annie’s Microwavable Rice Pasta And Cheddar Macaroni & Cheese $1.99/single

Company Description- ‘Introducing Annie’s microwavable mac & cheese cups made with 100% real cheese. All of the goodness of Annie’s mac & cheese and ready in just about two minutes’.

Review- The rice pasta and cheddar is gluten free and does not contain any artificial flavors, synthetic colors or preservatives. Just as important, the cheese in it comes from cows that are not treated with growth hormones. The directions on the single bowl are very easy to follow and they even mark inside the bowl where to stop when adding water. The pasta is a bit on the al dente side which I like. If your kids are anything like mine then they like their mac n cheese to be super cheesy which it is and the half portion in the cup turned out to be a good amount for a child.

Everything in the Mama VoxBox is meant to save time and help make your day just a little bit easier. My favorite product in this group are the Dr. Scholl’s insoles but as a mom I’m so happy that I got to try a few more items that I had never heard of before.

Didn’t know Pond’s had a BB cream. Sounds like it’s worth checking out.

It was my first time using a BB cream and my first time using Ponds. A great combination.

They’re the best! I actually had them in a pair of heels yesterday and felt comfortable standing at an event for extended periods of time.
