Glossybox Bohemian Summer Review

30 Sep

My latest Glossbox is here and this one is inspired by a Bohemian Summer. Normally there are five samples in each Glossybox but there was an added bonus this month. Check out the latest goodies that I got to try out.

Anatomicals Spray Misty For Me Facial Spritz

This spray contains lavender and peppermint extracts to help hydrate and rejuvenate the skin. It’s suitable for most skin types including normal, dry and sensitive skin. It gets absorbed into the skin quickly leaving behind a lavender fragrance which I’m not a fan of at all. I do like how smooth my skin feels after I’ve used it however.

A full bottle retails for $9.00

Novex Brazilian Keratin Hair Care Treatment Cream

This is a cream that is meant to get a head start in preparing for the dry and damaging winter months. It contains proteins that restore shine and smoothness so that you’re locks look and feel shiny and smooth. I’ve had the keratin done to my hair recently so I don’t need this product just yet but I’ll definitely revisit it later on.

Jelly Pong Pong Lip Blush

This lip stain is made with beeswax and ceresin wax which make it lightweight, hydrating and long lasting. The lip blush is available in two colors- Marshmallow and Cranberry. The one that I got is Cranberry which a red orange color. I find that I have to swipe it across my lips a few times to get the depth that I want but it’s really pretty and well worth the effort. I also like that it’s so easy to apply and doesn’t bleed.

It sells for $18.00

Pandora’s Nail Polish

A 3-free polish that was exclusively designed for Glossybox members. The color that I received is a pretty shade of baby pink. I would tell you what it’s called but it doesn’t say it anywhere. I can tell you however, that it’s very soft and summery.

A bottle goes for $9.50

Sue Devitt Triple C-Weed Pressed Powder

Made with green tea and vitamin C to nourish and brighten the skin. The powder helps to decrease shine and even out your skin tone. I don’t use powder but  it does feel nice on the skin and helps to hide any undesired shine.

Retails for $28.00

Guess Discount Coupon and Makeup Bag

One of the two extras that are included in the Bohemian Summer Glossybox is a 30% discount redeemable at any Guess store. I’ll be making good use of this. The second extra goodie is a cute denim makeup bag. It says GLossybox on one side and Guess on the other and has a pretty floral motif on it. Perfect to take on vacation or to throw in your purse.

I’m guessing that you can only get the makeup bag in the Glossybox but you should be able to find something similar in Guess stores.

I’m happy with this month’s Glossybox and am going to put the lip brush, polish and makeup bag to very good use.

This month’s Glossybox looked so great, especially that powder! That’s awesome that you got so many full sized products.

They often have great full sized products in heir boxes. My favorite so far was the Tarte Glamazon.
