Pur Minerals Blink Mascara Review

4 Apr

The people over at Pur Minerals sent me a tube of their Big Blink mascara to try out and review. Since they claim that it’s clinically proven to be non-irritating for contact lens wearers, I couldn’t wait to try it out.

Company Description: “Take your lashes to the extreme! Containing our exclusive clump-resistant wand, nourishing formula and knockout color, it’s a stroke of genious”.

Pur Minerals Mascara Review

I love the way that they designed the Blink mascara tube because the hot pink color makes it so easy to find when I’m digging through all of my other products. This goes for my purse which is the size of a small dog as well as my makeup drawer so it can save me a few minutes of aggravation. The tube is also the same size of your average gloss so it doesn’t take up much room which is always a plus.

Another reason that I love the Pur Minerals mascara packaging is because it says that the products contains argan oil. Being a hard core argan oil fan, I can’t tell you how much this thrills me because I know that it will condition my lashes as it coats them. The mascara also contains vitamin E, antioxidants, Omega 3 and 9 and fatty acids to hydrate the hairs. It’s important to keep in mind that your lashes are hairs and should get the same consideration as the rest of your hairs.

The Blink mascara’s greatest asset is that it really works to lengthen the lashes making them super long. In fact after the first application I found myself thinking of silky spider legs. I also found that it coats my lashes evenly so that I don’t have to spend time fussing with touching up the edges or smoothing out clumps. It also does a great job in separating the hairs so that each individual one stands out. Definition complete!

One more thing that I love about the Pur Minerals mascara is that it’s Cruelty free making it well worth $20.00.

Note: Although this product was sent to me to review, the opinion of how it performs is my own. I will never write a good review for a product that I don’t like.
