Spring 2013 Fashion Trends
Bermuda Shorts
If you want to give yourself a style makeover, get hold of some Bermuda shorts. They look great teamed with a pair of tights or leggings and will probably hit the shops sooner rather than later. As well as being stylish, chic and highly glamorous, they’re also comfortable and flattering, so embrace this fashion essential and wear them with attitude. Oh, and if you’re heading off for some much needed sun, don’t forget to pack a pair or two in your suitcase! They’ll come in handy for a day of sightseeing or a night on the town.
Black and White
You’d be forgiven for thinking floral was in this spring. Of course, there are a few flowery designs out there, but black and white has made a popular comeback. Everyone from Alexander Wang to Jason Wu and Marc Jacobs have included these colors in their spring 2013 collections, so grab your wallet and see what you can find. Block shades, checkerboard patterns, horizontal stripes and an array of other designs are hitting the high street and are decorating everything from flared trousers to skinny jeans and blouses.
Sheer Fabrics and Cutouts
If you’re body confident, why not try the new peekaboo trend that’s already taking the nation by storm? Dresses with the sides cut out, sheer fabrics and leg-baring splits have been seen all over the catwalk and even celebrities have been rocking this style of late. Mom-to-be Kim Kardashian was seen out and about wearing a blue strapless dress which revealed its fair share of her famous curves. It’s worth noting that some designs are more daring than others, so don’t worry if you don’t want too much on display.
Intricate Beading and Detail
Sequins are often thought to be old-fashioned, but beautiful beads are far from it. They brighten up the simplest outfits and are out in full force for the spring season. You’ll find them on jumpsuits, skirts, dresses and tops, so keep an eye out for selected items by Oscar de la Renta, Altuzarra or Marchesa. If you don’t want to pay a fortune for designer wear, you could always buy some beads online or from a fashion store and carefully sew them onto your favorite garments.
With so many wonderful spring 2013 dresses to choose from you’re going to have to make more room in your closet.

I’m digging Bermuda shorts and I’m always a B&W lover. DIY beaded clothes is a great idea, I need to add that to my things to do soon!xo
