Volume 2 of Kisses On My List is one of the products that my good friends at Anastasia released in time for the holiday season. What you’ll get in the set is six different shades of Hydrafull glosses for the price of $30.00. It includes:
- 3 sheer, ultra-hydrating glosses
- 3 new exclusive hypercolor glosses
What is hypercolor? They say that it reacts with your skins chemistry to stain your lips a custom hue that is all your own.
“A set of six high-shine glosses in matte and shimmer shades that wear all-day”.
I tried every shade of Kisses On My List by Anastasia and love them all.
The colors included are:
- Moi- A great everyday color in a shiny neutral nude shade. I keep this one in my purse so that I always have it with me.
- Maggie May- A lovely nude color with pink undertones. It’s very pretty by itself but is also a great color to blend.
- Sharona- A gorgeous peach color with specks of gold.
- Lola (hypercolor)- A sexy shimmery, sheer pink.
- Roxanne (hypercolor)- A soft neutral pink.
- Jolene (hypercolor)- A darker shade of pink than Roxanne which almost looks like a raspberry color. Beautiful!
As I mentioned earlier, the hypercolors look different on everyone so in order to show you what they look like I’ve decided to swatch all of them on my arm rather than on my lips the way that I normally would. This way, you can see them in their original form.
It was very easy to apply the glosses with the plastic applicator because it slides easily and evenly over the lip area. No mess. No fuss. They are not sticky and are very comfortable to wear (I won’t mention any names right now but there are glosses out there that are so sticky, it’s a workout to talk). These colors were simply moisturizing and soft and didn’t annoy me. I didn’t even bother wearing liner with them because they didn’t bleed past my lip line.
In the company description, they say that the glosses will wear all day. Now I’ve tried my share of glosses and it’s very rare for me to find one that lasts thru a cup of coffee let alone all day. I won’t make it a secret that I had some serious doubts about whether or not the Anastasia glosses could actually deliver on such a hefty promise. I love it when I’m proven to be wrong. The glosses are incredible and they do last all day long. Take that morning coffee, lunch and afternoon coffee! The colors went on strong and depending on whether they were matte color or glossy, they were true and bold. By late afternoon they acted more like a lip stain than a gloss in the sense that the sheen went away but I still had color on my lips. The colors were matte but still very pretty. The one thing missing was a lack of moisture. The stain didn’t dry out my lips at all. In fact they felt soft and hydrated.
The Kisses On My List glosses are paraben free, hypoallergenic, dermatologist testes, clinically tested and cruelty free.
So $30 for lip glosses…. Is it worth the price? Of course it is. First of all, the glosses are beautiful and have staying power. If that’s not enough for you then let’s break it down and say that you’re paying $5 per gloss which is very inexpensive for a quality beauty product. Forget the holidays this is a great gift to give all year round! Anastasia sent me mine to review, but you can get yours on http://www.anastasia.net/
Have you tried any glosses by Anastasia before? What are your thought?
