I’ve recently had the opportunity to try out a couple of Clean Logic bath products. The story behind the brand is that they infuse Anti-Microbial Accessories, Silpure® technology in each sponge fiber to prevent mold or bacteria growth while Ultra-Fresh® anti-microbial technology provides an additional layer of protection to extend product life. The process is done during the manufacturing process so that it won’t wash off and the cloth won’t change color or smell bad over time.
As someone whose thrown away my share of wash cloths these products really interested me and I couldn’t wait to try them out.
Clean Logic Soap Sponges
Company Description: “Combining the cleansing benefits of a bar of soap with the exfoliating ability of a sponge in one convenient product, the Soap Sponge is an industry first and a new shower essential. By combining the daily regimen of cleansing with the action of removing stubborn dead skin into one easy action, with this convenient new 2-in-1 product, Cleanlogic has re-written the rules of showering”.
The soap sponge that I got to try out is the cucumber melon scent. I love the fragrance which really does smell like a delicious cucumber and melon blend (it’s amazing how many products don’t get the scent right). The sponge was a bit on the rough side when I first started using it because it works to exfoliate your skin while you bathe. Although it wasn’t uncomfortable, it was a noticeable, but after a few uses it softened up so that I was more comfortable. Since the soap is in the sponge it creates a nice lather that keeps going and going without the need of stopping to add more soap to the sponge. If you have kids that are constantly banging on the bathroom door, you’ll understand how great it is to have all of the benefits of a great shower that leaves you squeaky clean while saving an extra minute or two in the shower. By the way, I was curious to find out how the Clean Logic soap sponge works and I got the chance when my daughter was cleaning the shower walls with it and in the process kept slamming the soap onto the floor (don’t ask). It’s actually pretty cool because I almost expected to see a bar of soap in the middle of the sponge but all I saw was sponge. Further research told me that the soap is actually infused into the sponge so that the sponge in essence is turned into a soap.
Clean Logic Stretch Bath And Shower Cloth
- Stretches Up To 3x The Size Of A Regular Wash Cloth
- Leaves Your Skin Feeling Smooth And Refreshed
- Deeply Cleans And Revives Dull, Dry Skin
- Ideal For Cleaning The Entire Body
- Creates Full And Rich Lather
The Clean Logic bath and shower cloth was about the size of a regular wash cloth and upon getting wet it grew and grew until it really was almost three times the size of a regular one. Like the soap sponge, it created a nice lather while exfoliating the skin. I also noticed that a little soap went a long way because I didn’t need to reapply soap to the cloth but was able to cover my entire body. The cloth is definitely harsher than the soap and is ideal for removing dead skin cells. It actually reminds me of a Middle Eastern cloth called a kiseh that my mother use to use for that very purpose. The difference is that the Clean Logic cloth isn’t as prone to getting bacteria.
|So far I’ve had both products in my shower for over two weeks and there’s no sign of bacteria. I feel clean and refreshed after every shower and really enjoy using the Clean Logic bath products. Would I purchase them in the future? Absolutely- especially since the prices for the products range from $0.99 – $5.99.
