China Glaze Lorelei’s Tiara Review
11 Apr

Lorelei’s Tiara by China Glaze is a stellar glittery nail polish that is perfect for sunny days. The base of the polish is a silver glitter and it’s sprinkled with blue glitter so that when the sun or some light hits it, it catches the white light and truly dazzles the eyes. This is not to say that it’s not a great color for indoor wear as well. In fact, it’s a very playful polish that adds personality to anything you wear.
I found that Lorelei’s Tiara was very easy to apply. The first coat didn’t give enough coverage because there were bald spots throughout the coating so I needed two coats to get the full effect. It had a bumpy texture which was softened after I applied a clear top coat. Although there was still some texture I didn’t mind it at all because I kept running my fingers over it just to get to feel it. It was sort of a game for me.
Lorelei’s Tiara lasted for a full five days before pieces of it started to chip which is pretty good in my experience. Getting it off was an entirely different story though. I had to soak my nails in nail polish remover, scrub at my nails and finally file off some of the polish to remove it. The process took almost ten minutes.
So the million dollar question is would I wear Lorelei’s Tiara by China Glaze again? Absolutely! It’s a beautiful color that I got tons of compliments on and had lots of fun wearing. The time that it took to remove it is most definitely worth the effort and I’m looking forward to it.
How do you feel about China Glaze’s Lorelei’s Tiara?

Never used it before but god, 10 minutes to take it off? not for the lazy wearer.
Totally worth the time and effort though because it really lasts and it looks so pretty. Besides I took it off while I was on the phone so it gave me something to do with my hands while I was talking.
I love this polish…the whole collection is amazing! I put one coat of it over a silver metallic polish. It looks pretty, uses less but looks great & one coat of glitter polish is easier to remove than two!
What a great idea. You really can’t go wrong with China Glaze- or silver polish.
This looks alot like Showgirl Chic from Sally Hansen GemCrush. They look identical actually.
I haven’t tried any of the Sally Hansen glittery polishes, but I’ll be sure to look into it.
I wonder if there is anything you could do to shorten the removal time??? What a great look!
I was at the IBS show yesterday and they have special nail polish removers for this sort of polish now so I got a box…or two. I’ll let you know how it goes.
