The latest resort line from Gucci includes pretty much all of the tasty trends that it takes to make up a designer line successful. Here are some of our favorite looks.
Gucci has taken color blocking to an entirely new level by using bright eye catching colors, flowing lines and a flattering silhouette. Looks comfy too!
As you know prints are always the way to go during the warmer seasons and during resort designers have even taken the step further by doing head to toe prints. Personally I think that, that’s too much of an eye sore but I love this printed shirt with the safari white shirts. The pop of red is also a nice finishing touch.
This pencil skirt gives most body types a nice line and the length makes the legs appear to be longer. The leather jacket has a very cool aviator feel. Best of all, theses colors look good with anything so both pieces are going to be very versatile.
Red is one of the hottest colors for resort and it looks delicious as a knee length coat. I keep thinking that this is a great look to wear to the office but since this is a resort line, I’ll have to say that it’s also a great look for strolling through marketplaces in as well.
Another big color for resort is camel and I love how Gucci uses color blocking and layering to make it stand out so nicely here. The boyfriend jacket and skinny pants are a nice way to create menswear for women which was one of the biggest fall fashion trends for 2011and is still hot for resort.
