Whether used to create an edgy French manicure look or on its own gold is strong for the winter season. You’ll have your pick of glittery, slightly shimmer, on the side of neutral or dark shades of gold. This is a perfectly warm color that will look great on any skin tone so get out there and find one that you love.
Deep shades of red ranging from a classic burgundy to a metallic wine will get your nails to stand out. If you’ve never tried a red polish you’re totally missing out. It’s classy, sophisticated and it goes with anything.
Normally we don’t see so much pink during the winter season, but this year pink was a hot color on the runways and so it’s big in the nail color department as well. There is a difference however. Rather than a powdery pastel pink try one that’s darker and has a slight touch of lilac in it. The great thing about pink is that it lasts longer than a dark color so you should be good for a few days.
Like things that sparkle? You’re in luck because there’s an army of shimmery polish colors available for the winter season. Or if you have a solid color that you love and want to dress it up a bit you can even get a sheer polish that has some shimmer and apply it as a top coat. Here are so many colors that it’s going to be hard to pick a color to try every week.
I’m looking forward to finding some great colors this season.
