Animal Print Eye Makeup Ideas

14 Oct

More and more recently, I’ve been appreciating the imagination, artistry, technique and patience that is used to create animal eye makeup designs. While I wouldn’t wear these styles on a regular day they’re great for those special occasions where you have to get dressed up like Halloween, or if you’re going to have a fun night out on the town. Here are some of my favorites.

Peacock eye makeup is as glorious as it sounds. By using the blue, green, gold and brown color combination you really get a chance to portray the beauty of the bird. If you really want to accentuation it you can find some super long peacock eye lashes to frame the design with.

If you love using a wide range of color then try butterfly eye makeup because you can literally treat your eyes as if it’s a canvas. This technique lets your imagination really run free because you can go as simple or dramatic as you want.

This zebra print eye shadow is brilliant. I love the contrast in colors and how it looks vs. the hot pink lipstick. I imagine that red lipstick would be too much but if you ever give it a try let me know.

Leopard print eye makeup seems to be the most versatile of all of the animal print eye makeup that we’re seeing. People are using different color stories and adding touches of shimmery glitter. It’s so pretty.

I’m thinking that I want to try them all out one of these days. Which one is your favorite?

Artistically it looks beautiful, but too wild to strut around the neighborhood.
