Do you know what I really hate? Grabbing the pole on the subway only to discover that it’s warm – reminding me of the hundreds of people who touched it before me that day. Then, to make matters worse, I get off the train and douse my hands in cheap hand sanitizer which immediately sucks all the moisture out of my hands and leaves them smelling like rubbing alcohol.
Well, folks, those days are over thanks to the introduction of Jurlique, a natural, moisturizing hand sanitizer. I got it in my Birchbox and I must say I was pretty pumped about it. I’m pleased to report it did not disappoint!
Aesthetically, it’s a beautiful product. Unlike standard hand sanitizers, which are very medical and stark, Jurlique has a lovely, organic-looking design in pale colors with an image of a plant I can only assume is Bush Mint.
Australian Bush Mint is among the ingredients that allow Jurlique to make its claim of “eliminating 99.9% of germs.” It’s a powerful antibacterial and antimicrobial, plus, it’s natural, which not many hand sanitizer brands can claim.
If that’s not enough to convince you to give it a shot, it also contains Safflower Oleosomes to condition and nourish your hands. This crack team of hand sanitizer ingredients not only kills germs and moisturizes, it also smells amazing. It rubs in and dries quickly and (mercifully) doesn’t leave your hands feeling sticky or gross, just refreshed and moisturized.
Jurlique hand sanitizer is reasonably priced at $6.50 for 50ml or $15.00 for 175ml. Sure, it’s not bargain basement pricing, but then again, it’s not exactly a bargain basement product!
