This weekend, I was headed off to Pennsylvania for the Fourth of July weekend with a three-week-old pedicure glaring up at me from my flip-flopped toes.
Luckily, I remembered I had a couple Deborah Lippmann “Stripper to Go” nail polish removing mitts on my bedside table, so I swiped them up and shoved them in my purse on my way out the door (along with my red, white and blue nail polish).
Having never tried them before I was a little paranoid that they wouldn’t work or that one wouldn’t be enough – but I could not have been more wrong. Per my traditional nail polish removing routine, I was expecting to sit for 15 minutes, meticulously scrubbing away at each toenail, going through at least 10 cotton balls or two paper towels. Not so with these miracle mitts.
Each nail polish removing mitt is individually wrapped, presumably for situations exactly like mine when you’re rushing out the door and need quick touchup. When you open the package, you’ll be pleasantly greeted with the scent of lavender instead of acetone – making them perfect for the car or a small space like a hotel room where the smell of acetone might bother people.
The package contains one, yes one, mitt that fits on your finger – and this one mitt will remove all of your toenail polish. I kid you not. I was expecting to use my second package and possibly even borrow somebody else’s nail polish remover, but I was wrong.
Hands down the best lacquer remover product I’ve ever used, the mitts left my toenails polish-free, fresh smelling and healthy looking. I know it’s odd to get so excited about a little thing like nail polish remover, but it’s a big part of my beauty routine that just got a lot easier.
There are six in a box and each box is $12, so they’re a little on the pricy side, but if you’re a girl on the go I think the Deborah Lippmann Stripper To Go lacquer remover mitts are worth every penny.
