Birchbox Review

23 Jun

A friend introduced me to Birchbox, a beauty product sampling company a couple of months ago when I told her about my beauty blog (thanks Adrienne!). Although I’ve only been a member for a short period of time so far, the experience has been truly rewarding and I plan on keeping it up for years to come. Want to know why? Read on.

What Is Birchbox?

It’s a monthly beauty subscription that allows you to try out the latest high-end beauty products. So every month, you get a beautifully wrapped box of Birchbox samples filled with sample sized beauty products. This way you can try a product to see if you like it before purchasing splurging on a full sized one.

If you like them, you can purchase the products that you received samples of and get points rewarded to you. You can also earn points by referring a friend or by taking a survey.

What Kind Of Birchbox Samples Should You Expect To Receive?

Birchbox works with over 40 designer brands such as Nars, Laura Mercier and Benefit. I’ve only been a member for two months so far, but I’ve already received some great samples such as the Stila eye shadow and Ahava hand cream you saw reviews about right here on Spontaneous Chick.

I can honestly say that I’ve been exceptionally happy with the Birchbox samples that I’ve received so far and have had a great relationship with the company. They’ve been true to their promise of sending out all sorts of samples from creams to soaps to perfumes for me to try out and although I haven’t loved every single product, the point it that I got to try products that maybe I wouldn’t have tried otherwise.
