100% Organic Argan Oil & Kahina Giving Beauty

27 May

I first heard about argan oil from a great girl named Mairin who works for Kahina Giving Beauty. It was so refreshing to see someone speak so lovingly of their work that  I found myself impelled to research the benefits of argan oil and to find out if Kahina argan oil works as well as Mairin said it would. Here’s what I found.

What Is Argan Oil?

Argan oil is extracted from the seeds of the argan tree which grows in Morocco. The argan tree has been growing in Morocco for almost two million years and is considered to be quiet rare so it’s protected by UNESCO so that it will continue to strive. The oil is exceptionally high in vitamin E and essential fatty acids which bring us to argan oil uses.

Argan Oil Uses

The fruits and oil of this tree have been used by the women of Morocco to feed the animals, as cooking oil for their own food, for medical purposes and for nail, hair and skincare. The vitamin E found in this oil make it a wonderful treatment for the skin that softens the skin while nourishing it at the same time. The fatty acids it contains are also excellent for proper skincare. Argan oil ideal to use on any skin type and has been proven to fight wrinkes, act as a natural anti-aging product and treat skin conditions such as eczema and acne.

Kahina Giving Beauty

All this brings us to my Kahina Giving Beauty review. I’ll admit that learning that this oil is so rich in vitamin E and fatty acids left me feeling that this oil would be a little heavy, but I’m happy to say that I was wrong. I tried the sample that I received from Kahina Beauty and found that it’s very light and soothing. As directed, I used one drop and it was enough for my entire face. The argan oil has such a light fragrance that it’s almost impossible to notice it which is great because I’m not one for strong scents. It took a little bit of time for my skin to absorb the oil, but at no time did the weight or feel of it bother me. I was actually able to feel my skin soak up the goodness of the oil and my skin had a beautiful natural glow that lasted all day.

I learned that the argan oil is also good for your hair so I used one drop of the oil and found that my hair had a beautiful shine, instantly looked healthy and it immediately got rid of all of the frizz that I had. If there’s nothing else that you take away from this post, take this away—any product that gets rid of frizz the way the Kahina argan oil does should win some sort of Pulitzer prize! My hair is not easy to care for at all! If I get it professionally done, the humidity in NY will undo it in a matter of an hour. So if for no other reason at all, you should try the Kahina argan oil. An added bonus to this isI do however strongly recommend that you try it out for your hair and skin so that you don’t miss out on one of the greatest natural gifts that we have today.

Oh, and one more thing! I’ve learned that the owner of Kahina Giving Beauty travels to Morocco frequently to make sure that the women who are making the oil are treated well because by law only women are allowed to work with the argan oil. Now there’s a company with heart!

Sounds very interesting, I will have my wife try this out. She is very allergic to the array of chemicals used in other makeup products and I am allergic to strong perfumes and colognes in general. So we have been mainly using stuff from burtsbees for the past few years.

Wow! That’s insane. I have a hard time imagining using the same oil in my food and on my face. I’ve never heard of anything like that.

Actually there are a few oils out there that can be used for both, but this one has the most vitamin E of all.
