Dealing With Annoying Phone Calls

You know those annoying phone calls that you get from telemarketers who don’t care that you’re on a do not call list? I’ve found a great way to annoy them and to entertain my kid all at the same time. As soon as I see a 1-800 number, I pass the phone to my daughter who is thrilled to tell someone, anyone about her day at school or the latest game that she played on the computer. It generally takes the telemarketer a few minutes to realize that she’s on the phone with a kid and she’ll ask a few times if she can speak with mommy, but in the time that it takes the telemarketer to hang up, I’ve already done a quick chore. I have to admit that I love this new method I’ve discovered to annoy telemarketers- especially when they call before 9 Am on Saturday morning.

      Kill two birds with one stone! Get rid of the call and get stuff done. I love it.

      I do it all the time now. It’s the best!
